Russian School of American Tap-Dance (RSATD) was founded in 1994 by Konstantin Nevretdinov and his teacher and colleague Michael Kushner-Gusakov.

The educational process in our school is directed on intensive mastering of tap dance technique. One of the teachers' basic tasks is to impart to their students skill of self-perfectation and self-education. Tap training, skill to feel the rhythm and to hear the music, learning the principles of improvisation and much, much more - that is what we are going to give You. The main thing is that our teachers will teach You those things, which they had derived from the best tap-dancers of the USA, Russia and Europe.

Our students have repeatedly taken the prizes of tap dance festivals at home and abroad, were the winners of the Open Russian Cup in tap dance in 2002, participated in the IDO World Tap Dance Championship in Riesa (Germany) in 1998 and were invited to participate in the performance of Tap Dance Festival in Berlin in 2002.

RSATD is a member of Moscow TAP DANCE Federation.

It is possible to note that some former RSATD students are now teachers of tap dance in other schools.
